Today we would like to introduce Banana in Hangzhou concept store designed by Some Thoughts Studio. The designer draws inspiration from the geometric elements in the coordinate system. Verticality is the most intuitive expression of gravity, while curvature is a poetic portrayal of gravity.
Swaged aluminum grating is used extensively in the store, with black and white marble flowing through the grid matrix replaced by aluminum grating, like waves. The collision of randomness and order is presented as an experience. Its metallic color scheme and futuristic design take the overall style of the store to a whole new level. The use of aluminum grille as the main material for the concept storefront is a much smarter choice. Its gridded design allows for good ventilation and light penetration, making the space appear more open for stores with unique design styles.
When natural materials are destroyed, polished, and rebuilt, the remnants of nature help us to perceive the presence of organic matter. In the design of Bananain Hangzhou Concept Store, Some Thoughts Studio activates “nature” through the collision of marble and metal materials, allowing organic matter to output “process aesthetics” between structure and deconstruction.
